“Multi-Process Human Resources Outsourcing (MPHRO) – Annual Report 2013: The Sun is Rising in the East”

Latest research results from Everest Group position Talent2 as a leader in the Everest Group PEAK Matrix, published in the Multi-Process Human Resources Outsourcing (MPHRO) — Annual Report 2013: The Sun is Rising in the East. The findings place Talent2 as the second largest MPHRO service provider in Asia Pacific with a 16 per cent market share in the emerging APAC region.

The report named Talent2 as one of the ‘providers of choice’ in APAC for single-country deals or deals by the Asia Pacific-headquartered multi-country companies. “We are thrilled with this outcome as we strive to grow on the successful working partnerships we have with our clients. This report highlights the importance of the SMAC (social media, mobile solutions, analytics and cloud/SaaS) phenomenon to buyers in MPHRO and Talent2 will continue to build our capabilities in these identified areas to optimize our offerings, and ensure strong growth for 2013-14 and beyond,” Mary Sue Rogers, Global Managing Director of HR Managed Services said.

Everest Group outlines the emergence of the Asia Pacific region as a growing market. Its figures reveal that the global market for 2012 grew at a modest pace of 2 per cent (reaching US$3.18 billion in revenue), while the APAC region grew at a much higher rate of 8 per cent. This momentum is expected to continue with nearly a quarter of all new deals signed in 2012 originating from APAC, and the emergence of Australia, India, Japan and Singapore as epicentres of new activity in the region. “As the APAC economy continues to show higher growth compared to the western economies, there is an increasing interest among organizations operating in this market to leverage MPHRO to create a scalable HR service model based on best practices and robust technology access. The appropriate solution, however, will need to take into account the diversity and uniqueness of this market,” said Rajesh Ranjan, Vice President at Everest Group.

The report identifies that buyers in these newer markets are cautious in their approach, which results in a relatively short-term contract around transactional processes. Buyers are also driven by cost reduction, scalability, standardization, access to better technology and accelerated time-to-market.
“At Talent2 we realize that as well as cost reduction as a key driver for buyers, there are other factors such as cutting-edge technology, streamlined processes along with the ability to provide consultancy services to better support our clients’ needs – this is the valued-added approach we strive to provide,” Rogers said.

About Talent2
Talent2 is a leading Human Resources Business Process Outsourcing (HR BPO) and Managed Services organisation in the Asia Pacific region, delivering end-to-end talent management solutions that put people first. These include HR Advisory, Payroll, Recruitment, RPO and Learning.
Founded in 2003, Talent2 operates from 38 offices providing services in 30 countries across Asia Pacific, Middle East, UK and USA.

In 2012, Talent2 was privatised by its founders, Geoff Morgan and Andrew Banks in partnership with Allegis Group, Inc. Allegis Group, a private company founded in 1983, is the largest staffing provider in North America and the fourth largest staffing firm in the world, with offices in over 300 cities throughout the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

The combined strength of both businesses further cements Talent2’s position as a global organisation and gives it a unique capacity and platform to fulfil the rapidly evolving needs for talent management across the globe.

Talent2 in the Philippines
In March this year, Talent2 expanded on its near-decade long experience in the Philippines by opening a new, 500-seat, state-of-the-art Shared Service Centre (SSC) that is the central hub for its Asia Pacific operations. The SSC supports all of Talent2’s Asia Pacific operations, allowing the organization to boost front- and back-end service levels for clients in recruitment, learning, HR and payroll.

The centre reinforces Talent2’s ongoing development of innovative, market leading HR BPO technology and service delivery, as well as supporting its expansion and focus on the fast-growing Asia Pacific region.
