In less than half a year, PWSPI has already achieved a milestone of inspecting more than 1,000 used cars. All these have undergone a 188-point inspection that covers major mechanical and electrical components to help inform customers on the vehicle’s true condition before they make a purchase.

Inspected secondhand cars are easily identified with the affixed Premium Inspected sticker on the front or back windshield, which certifies that a car has passed PWSPI’s stringent quality standards. An inspection report can also be viewed by the buyer upon request. These inspected vehicles are available in more than 100 used car dealers around Metro Manila.
Through PWSPI’s partnership with the country’s leading online classifieds Carousell, PWSPI-inspected vehicles are also accessible online. Listed vehicles on the platform carry an “Inspected” badge, with a direct link to the inspection report. To make the search for a quality used car even more convenient, Carousell has added “Inspected Cars” as a search filter and created a dedicated section under Carousell Autos Inspected.

Buy worry-free with Premium warranty
Buyers can have peace of mind and confidence when purchasing a vehicle from PWSPI as vehicles that passed the inspection criteria are eligible for a 1- or 2-year warranty.
Warranty is offered on vehicles aged 10 years below or with a mileage of no more than 150,000km at the point of purchase. It can cover either the Engine & Transmission only or a Comprehensive Warranty that covers more than 200 parts. Prices start at Php5,100, which is a worthwhile investment as owners can claim for various parts defects.
A number of vehicles currently advertised on Carousell have passed PWSPI’s rigid inspection process. These certified pre-owned cars can now be purchased from accredited used car dealers and are searchable through Carousell’s “Eligible for Warranty” filter.
Sure quality buy from private sellers
While warranty services are currently offered only through dealers, those who transact with private sellers can also avail of Premium Inspection and have any used car on sale checked. PWSPI will evaluate a vehicle’s exterior, interior, undercarriage, engine and on-board devices (OBD). The warranty services company can also look for faults and signs of previous repair, accidents and flooding.
This on-demand service can be booked through PWSPI from Mondays to Saturdays during regular work hours. A surveyor can be dispatched to any point in Metro Manila where the vehicle is located for a minimal service fee of Php2,600.
