The Filipino dream is to be able to provide a comfortable life for the family such as putting a roof over their heads and providing quality education for the kids. For many, it also includes giving them all the good things that life has to offer, including travels.
Although 2020 temporarily put a pause on everyone’s dreams and plans, the rollout of vaccines has given many people hope that this year, 2021, will be the year to reclaim, build back and expand one’s horizons. For a lot of Filipinos, this also means returning to the roads, whether to visit loved ones that they haven’t seen in a while or go on a trip to unwind and relax. In fact, six out of ten Filipinos list safe, family-friendly vacations as a top priority for this year[i]. Traveling with the family certainly offers a lot of benefits, from forming stronger ties to creating new memories together.
