Caltex, marketed by Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI), further expands its retail footprint across the country with five new service stations in Cavite, Bacolod City, Tagbilaran City and Puerto Princesa City. This brings to 15 the total number of stations Caltex has opened this year even amid quarantine.
The recently opened Caltex station in Cavite is located along Trece Martires-Indang Road in Trece Martires. Situated at the heart of Cavite province, Trece Martires is the trading center for various agriculture produce such as coffee and sugar cane. The 12-pump fueling station will also serve neighboring cities and municipalities in Cavite and will operate from 6am to 6pm during the modified GCQ (MGCQ).
Chevron has also opened two new Caltex service stations in the country’s famous tropical paradise — Palawan — both located in Puerto Princesa City. The 12-pump fueling station in Brgy. San Jose operates 24 hours while the service station in Brgy. Sicsican is open from 6am to 9pm. The two sites are now ready to further improve the journey of locals.
In the Visayas, the new Caltex service station stands along Alijis Road, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. Located in the Sugar Bowl of the Philippines, Bacolod City is a sweet spot for trade in the entire province besides being the most populous urban area. The 8-pump fueling station will operate from 5am to 7pm during GCQ.
The new Caltex service station in Tagbilaran City is situated in Brgy. San Isidro, one of the largest barangays in the city. The 6-pump fueling station operates from 5am to 7pm during MGCQ.
CPI Country Chairman Louie Zhang says, “We continue to provide uninterrupted fuel supply for the country’s needs and grow our retail network to help in the steady recovery of the economy. More businesses are starting to open up and more vehicles are filling the streets. They will need access to safe and quality fuels, which Caltex offers in our growing retail network in key urban centers and thoroughfares across the country.”
The 15 new Caltex service stations in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao attest to the strength of the Caltex brand and its business model for entrepreneurs. More stations will be opened as Caltex continues to expand its retail network.
“Chevron remains committed to making the Filipino motorists’ journey a wonderful ride. We will continue to open Caltex stations across the country to serve more customers in their fuel needs and provide support to motorists,” added Zhang.
Caltex stations nationwide remain open amid the implementation of quarantine in some areas. Hygiene standards, regular temperature checks, social distancing and frequent sanitation of areas with high human touchpoints are implemented in the stations. Customers can use contactless payment methods and are welcome to make use of the disinfectants or hand sanitizers located at the cashiers.
Motorists can find the nearest Caltex station using the Caltex Locator app, available on both Google Play and App Store. Find out more about Caltex at http://caltex.com.
