Mental health is a human right, and as communication professionals, we have the power — and the responsibility — to foster environments where everyone feels supported, valued and heard.”

This commitment aligns with the Global Alliance’s Snapshot Report on Mental Health and Wellbeing in PR and Communications, which highlights the urgent need for systemic reform within the profession. The report calls for stronger mental health frameworks, supportive workplace cultures, and the elimination of stigma — goals that the QualityRights e-training directly supports.

The WHO QualityRights e-training is available free of charge and is designed for individuals, teams and organizations looking to:

  • Deepen their understanding of mental health and human rights
  • Challenge and change stigma in the workplace and beyond
  • Develop inclusive communication strategies that promote mental wellbeing

“Every person who registers and completes this training becomes part of a global movement for change,” added Prof. Green. “This isn’t just professional development — it’s a personal commitment to buil a more compassionate, inclusive and equitable world.”
