The first half of the MAXXIS NAsFOR 4×4 Cup Extreme Off-Road Challenge has come to a close, with the toughest off-roaders claiming their well-deserved podium places. Leading the pack of off-road athletes with five podium places—four of which are championships—is Joseph Rodriguez of 4Wheelers Davao. He is followed by Jherico Lara of the Aurora Racing Team with three podium places and fellow 4Wheelers Davao member Cesar Daquil, who won three as well.

Oxford Business Group Launches Inaugural Investment Challenge

Oxford Business Group (OBG) has made its extensive range of research tools available to students at Ateneo Graduate School of Business (AGSB) who are taking part in a five-week Investment Challenge.

The challenge was organised by OBG and AGSB with the aim of encouraging students to identify promising opportunities for foreign direct investment. Participants were set the task of providing a detailed answer to a question about investing in emerging economies on July 8 and must submit their answers by August 9. A range of prizes is being offered to winners which includes: a complimentary subscription to OBG’s resources; a tuition rebate; free parking at the university; and priority enrolment.

Caltex Donates “Piso Kada Litro” to Boost STEM Learning in Region 2 Public high Schools

If your road trip brings you to Cagayan Valley, then give a lending hand to education by fueling up in any of the 23 Caltex stations in northeastern Luzon.

Ongoing up to July 31, Caltex will donate one peso (P1) for each liter of fuel sold in Caltex stations. The program, called Caltex Fuel Your School, aims to raise P3 million to purchase STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) teaching and learning aids. The more fuel ups, the more Caltex donates.
