Philippines to Host First-Ever Nutanix .NEXT On Tour

Enterprise cloud OS leader Nutanix (NASDAQ: NTNX) has announced that its .NEXT On Tour ASEAN 2019 roadshow will include the Philippines, the first time the country is hosting the flagship event. The expanded whistle-stop tour will now cover six countries, including the Philippines, to complement the company’s traditional markets, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.

Hino Turns Over Modernized Jeepneys to Novaliches-Malinta Cooperative

HinoMotors Philippines (HMP), exclusive distributor of Hino trucks and buses in the Philippines, has recently turned over the first batch of modernized public utility vehicles (PUVs) for the Novaliches-Malinta Jeepney Transport Service Cooperative (NMJTSC) during a ceremony held in Valenzuela City.

HMP is one of the pioneer participants of the PUV Modernization program, a countrywide transformational initiative that will improve the transport welfare and safety of Filipino commuters. In support of the government’s jeepney modernization program, NMJTSC recently received a total of 23 modernized PUV units from HMP. Next month, Hino will deliver its second batch of 29 PUV units to fulfill the cooperative’s requirement. By the end of the year, a total of 52 Hino PUVs will ply the Novaliches-Malinta route.

Hino Offers Total Support with New Isabela Dealership

138 Olive Ridley hatchlings released at Pico de Loro Cove

SM Prime’s premier eco-tourism development, Hamilo Coast, continues to be a haven for sea turtles. Out of five marine turtle species residing in the Philippines, three can be found in the area – the Olive Ridley, Green and Hawksbill.

Approximately 138 newly hatched Olive Ridley turtles have been  released as of November 2019 to the coastal waters of Pico Beach in Hamilo Coast. These events are much-celebrated in Hamilo Coast as the Olive Ridley turtle is the most abundant yet the most vulnerable due to poaching and pollution.

More turtle nests are expected to hatch by the year-end.

Hino Concept Vehicle Debuts at the 46th Tokyo Motor Show

Hino Motors Ltd., the exclusive distributor of Hino trucks and buses in the Philippines, showcased various transport solutions demonstrating its vision of a sustainable future in its exhibition themed “Transporting Every Happiness” during the 46th Tokyo Motor Show 2019.

The FlatFormer, an innovative electric truck platform that can fit any body style or frame depending on the requirements, was the highlight of Hino’s exhibit during the 11-day international trade event, which happened at Tokyo Big Sight in Japan.
